2017 Trends: Masks
The interest in skin jumped this year and I believe it has a lot to do with masks. Masking became the new thing to do. Everyone from celebrities to top beauty gurus were masking this year, and they came in all kinds, colors and brands.
Sheet Masks
K-Beauty invaded the US this year with an unexpected trend, sheet masks. Most sheet masks deliver intense hydration, a boost of radiance, anti-aging benefits and an awesome selfie. You can use them a minimum of twice a week and your skin will feel and look more supple and plump.
Image Skincare Biomolecular Hydrating Recovery Mask
This moisture-rich sheet mask contains ultra-hydrating ingredients to rescue dull, dry skin. Skin is deeply nourished and provided with anti-aging benefits to fight signs of dryness, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and instantly give the skin a plump, firm appearance. The unique hydrogel mask increases delivery of active ingredients to lift, hydrate and brighten after only one use. Imageskincare.com
Peel-Off Masks
Another trend that took off this year were peel off masks. The mere thought of applying a mask, letting it dry and peeling it off had everyone losing their minds...until it was time to peel them off that is. If your skin is more sensitive, like mine, you want to be very gentle when peeling off a mask in the perioral region of the face. For those that don't know, that would be around your mouth and nasal area. With benefits like tightening & firming, oil controlling, and the most popular of all peel off masks, purifying and blackhead removing, you were sure to find your perfect mask.
Boscia Luminizing Black Mask
This unique peel-off mask is filled with powerful antioxidants, such as activated charcoal, that help visibly shrink pores, firm skin, reduce redness, and strip away dead skin and impurities for noticeable results.
