Straight Like That...

Straight like that came about one day when I was having a conversation with one of my co-workers on real topics. We share a lot of ourselves with each other and I thought it would be a great idea to bring some of those topics with my audience. Feel free to share your thoughts also. I'd love to hear what you have to say. This week, I want to talk about how consistency can help you succeed.

On December 31, 2017, I made resolution to myself that I still struggle with...being consistent. Consistency has been sinking hook shots while I'm running blindly in the background for years. I've never been one to be consistent, unless someone promised me something and didn't commit.

I turned 30 this past November and I promised that I would do better, especially since I launched my blog. I flew through my 20s just winging it, no specific plan in motion. Keep in mind, I had 2 children, seven years apart in my 20s. I was "FAKE" busy in my 20s and never really had an end goal. Nothing really to work for or work towards. I just knew that I had to go to work everyday because that's what society has conditioned us to believe.

I still work everyday but I'm motivated, now more than ever. This blog has given me a different outlook on life. I still struggle day to day with writing and posting but having a reason to stay consistent and keeping my audience happy is amazing.

When I'm consistent, I see a difference in engagement on all of my platforms. I see increased traffic, more comments, (on IG) and more like all around. I feel a sense of pride within myself because I know that my hard work and consistency is what's keeping me afloat. Success is only what you make of it though. Let me know down below how staying consistent in your craft has helped you become successful.
